We specialize in General Marine Surveying and assessments - cargo/damage surveys on all types of vessels; including Damage Assessment Surveys (i.e., Goods in transit), Theft and Hijacking Surveys, Container and Cargo Damages, Unpack/Repack Surveys, Container Inspection Surveys, Malfunctioning/Non-Operating Reefer Containers, Cargo/Load Discharge Surveys, Weather Related Damages (these include but are not limited to fires and flooding), Sabotage (including looting, civil unrest and arson), Assessing the Nature of the Goods (Qualitative Analysis), Cargo Verification Surveys and Warehouse Surveys.
We also perform Engineering claims assessments and surveying and work extensively on behalf of the P and I [Durban] representing several overseas clubs and marine insurers and underwriters on cargo claims related matters.
